Tenant Amenities Abound at 222 S. Riverside

Renovation features contemporary design and conveniences

With a new lobby and an array of amenities, tenants of the freshly renovated Fifth/Third Center at 222 South Riverside Plaza may not feel like they are headed to the office. Bulley & Andrews (B&A), with JLL and Wright Heerema Architects, transformed this property into an enticing location for tenants.

New 5,000 square foot bar and lounge area, “The Union”

Gone are the beige stone walls, ceilings and floors.  High ceilings, modern light fixtures, terrazzo flooring, and bright walls now welcome tenants, giving the space a more contemporary and exciting feel.

In addition to the lobby space, tenants can now enjoy “the Union”, a new 5,000 square foot bar and lounge area that occupies a formerly unused part of the building. The adapted area features a full-time concierge, lounge area with fireplace and TVs, custom-finished bar, and game-room complete with shuffleboard, ping-pong, gaming systems, and golf simulator.  These unique amenities create a distinct space for building tenants to entertain clients and guests, attract new prospects, and/or simply break away and recharge for a while.

Tenants can break away and recharge by making use of the many new amenities in the tenant lounge, including a golf simulator.

Currently putting the finishing touches on this $40 million renovation, B&A is also building a new plaza that will echo the modern renovations of the building.  Set to be complete spring 2017, the new plaza will be the ideal complement to the very sophisticated transformation of 222 South Riverside Plaza.
