The problem:

This thirty year old precast double tee parking structure was taken out of service due to advanced deterioration throughout the structures. Previous repairs addressed the symptoms of the failed waterproofing systems but ignored the source of the deficiency. Poor detailing of the previous repairs attributed to the poor performance of the installed systems.

Bulley & Andrews Concrete Restoration provided the following services to repair the damages:

• Analyzed the structure, identifying deficiencies and installation of proper repair details which addressed the extensive deterioration of the structural components of the precast structure
• Installation of “state-of-the-art” waterproofing systems that protect the existing structure as well as the new repairs
