222 South Riverside Plaza

Working with JLL at a property in the heart of Chicago’s downtown business district, Bulley & Andrews Concrete Restoration recently completed a major plaza restoration at 222 S. Riverside Plaza.

The scope of work for the 35-story, Class B office building included the demolition and concrete restoration of the 50,000 sq. ft. plaza as well as waterproofing of the north and east plazas. The project was completed in March of 2017.

Directly below the plaza is the ever-active Amtrak and Metra train tracks that terminate into Chicago’s Union Station. Work performed at track level included structural concrete repairs, shorcrete repairs and structural steel replacement. Safety and quality were prevalent in every task performed on this jobsite.
